Why I am doing this Walk

Sunday 30th Nov
My late wife, Deborah Ward's diagnosis  (December 2022) for Lung cancer was too late and sadly she lost her fight to cancer and slipped away in May 2023. She is sadly missed by myself and all of her family. She is never forgotten.   
My Sister In Law, Anne, was also diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in December 2022. Thanks to the Marsden Anne is now in remission and has been cancer free for a year.
Unfortunately Anne has had complications from her surgery and was admitted back to the Marsden (Chelsea) in December 2025 for life saving surgery. Thanks to the Marsden Anne has survived this surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
I will be doing this walk for the rest of my life so that the Marsden can continue their research and hopefully find a cure for this terrible disease.
