Putting words to the venture

Sunday 12th Apr
In just under a month, a few friends and I will be taking part in the Marsden March. 

We had hoped it might be alongside our friend, Jay Cable, but very sadly it will instead be in his memory. We will be walking alongside his widow and his two boys.
 
I feel slightly hesitant about asking for donations (it’s fifteen miles from Chelsea to Sutton - not exactly an Iron Man!) but I know Jay was so grateful for the amazing care he received at the Royal Marsden and so committed to generating support for their work that it would feel more self-serving not to spread the word.
 
So we are now fundraising on behalf of the Royal Marsden in honour of the father of my son’s best friend and the battle he put up against cancer, strengthened by the outstanding medical care he received. 
 
I would be so grateful for any support for our team and the incredibly important and wide-reaching work of the Royal Marsden.

We are walking together - old friends and new, friends of Abby, Thomas and Elliot, to support Jay Cable, who is as diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2023 and is beating the odds due to the care and support of the Royal Marsden. He will be walking on the day.

We are proud to support such an important cause - every donation no matter the size will help the Royal Marsden continue their ground breaking work.
