We are supporting The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. Emily has and continues to be supported by their gold standard treatment, from stage 2 bowel cancer, through to preventative treatment for BRCA2 genetics. Not only that, Dann, Alex, Charlotte, Amy and Shenim have all had their own personal experiences with cancer and treatment. It can feel like it's everywhere and all the time! Having just had ovarian removal surgery due to a recent discovery of being a BRCA2 gene carrier, I won't be at the March but the team are carrying the torch onwards and have raised so much! However my son and I have been getting training in, pre op, on regular 5k walks as well as training over the cross country season and him preparing for the London Mini Marathon. Definitely got our steps in! 🏃‍♀️
