Together we walk!

Most of you will know why I support The Royal Marsden. Without them, my Dad would not be here today...ready to celebrate his 80th birthday this March!

In 2010, he was diagnosed with acute myloid leukemia (a bit of a blow after we all teased him about his man flu the week before) and it was a very rocky road to recovery. He spent time in the ICU in the Chelsea hospital on a ventilator at one point, when his body was unable to fight off an infection. We were on the receiving end of many a 'difficult conversation' and I still feel so much when I look back or talk about what I saw and had to hear. The immense joy and relief when I finally got to see him awake after all that. He's one of the strongest people I know, and we owe so much to the team who brought him back and made him well.

The staff at both Sutton and Chelsea were phenomenal, and inspired my own journey to train as a nurse, which I have now been doing for 10 years. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients.

Please support me today.
