Losses but more survivors
As all my friends and family know, I have beaten Prostate Cancer in 2024 having been diagnosed in late 2023. My treatment was a simple process with very little side effects because it was caught early. GET CHECKED!
My eldest son, Kerry, or Jimmy as you might know him, beat an even uglier type of cancer in 2015, Acute T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Having been diagnosed in June 2014, he endured a horrific 6-8 months, in and out of hospital with several debilitating bouts of chemotherapy. Eventually a stem cell transplant did the trick and he's since gone from strenth to strength.
My good friend Andy is currently suffering from his upteenth cancer and although terminal, he continues to fight bravely.
My Dad and others weren't so lucky but by helping the RMH we can help them stop it happening to others.
I intend to walk from my house in Chessington to Wembley Stadium on FA Cup Final Day. I am away for the actual walk so if Chelsea are there, I'm walking there. If Chelsea don't get there, I'll do it anyway as we won't play until the following day. Hopefully, there will be a few of us making it a team effort.
Please help with whatever you can spare to donate to this wonderful hospital's charity. It saved me, my son and millions of others. Help them beat cancer!!
