Together we walk!
Hi. The Laneys, Veronica, John and Patrick together with Charlotte are walking 15 miles between the two Royal Marsden hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton to raise money for Marsden Hospital. Challenging especially for us oldies!!!!
This is in memory of Chris who we (Veronica and John) met at Exeter University and with whom we became good friends together with his future wife Carrie. We kept in contact with Chris and Carrie over the following 45 plus years, and watched (and sometimes shared) in our respective family journeys. We have many happy moments and memories.
Chris was always active, fun and great company. Chris died in January of cancer - a sudden and short illness. We are walking and raising money in Chris’ memory as we know he would have wanted to support those who are also experiencing similar challenges.
We also are walking in recognition of the dedicated work of all the staff who provide such tremendous support to so many.

The walk is on the 10 May - a vigorous
training regime has been introduced! Wish us luck!
