Together we walk!
Hi. The Laneys, Veronica, John and Patrick together with Charlotte are walking the 15 mile march to support a wonderful hospital . Challenging especially for us oldies.
This is especially in memory of Chris who we (Veronica and John) met at Exeter Uni and with whom we became good friends together with his future wife Carrie. In contact for over 45 years we have shared our respective family journeys with many happy memories .
Chris died in January this year of cancer. He was always active, fun and great company . We know Chris would have cheered us on through our walk as he would have wanted to support those who are experiencing similar challenges. As a team we are also walking in recognition of all the staff who provide such tremendous support to so many.
A vigorous training regime has put in place for the march! Wish us luck.
