We’ll be marching

Saturday 28th Mar

Last Spring, me and Otis visited both Royal Marsden hospitals, the Chelsea one by mistake (oops) and then on to the Sutton one to visit Otis’s friend Eleanor and her family whilst she was undergoing treatment.

We saw first hand the wonderful facilities they offer; plenty of play facilities, a play Co-ordinator, a day centre to name but a few to support children and their families whose lives change forever when they hear the words ‘your child has cancer’.

On the 10th May 2026, me, Barney and Otis will be marching the 15 miles between the two hospitals with Eleanor and her family and friends (let’s face it the kids may be pushed some of the way!). We’ll be marching to show how thankful we are that Eleanor who was undergoing treatment at the last march is cancer-free at this one and to help support the Royal Marsden in all they do as a pioneering leader in cancer-care offering such a kind and patient centred approach. Any donations towards this worthy cause are very much appreciated.
