As a team, we walk together
I’m taking on the Marsden March – and I need your help.
On Sunday 10th May I’ll be walking 15 miles from The Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea to The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton to raise money for an incredible cause that means a huge amount to me and my family.
Like so many families, cancer has touched our lives.
I’m doing this walk in memory of my Dad, Geoff, and my Uncle Mick, who we sadly lost to cancer. Their loss is something our family will always carry with us.
But this walk is also about the present.
Right now, The Royal Marsden are supporting members of my family through their own cancer journeys. My Father-in-Law Mark is currently receiving treatment there, and my sister-in-law Charlie has recently been treated for a brain tumour. Seeing first-hand the care, compassion and expertise from the team at The Royal Marsden has shown us just how important their work is.
The Royal Marsden doesn’t just treat patients – they lead world-class research, develop new treatments and give hope to families facing incredibly difficult times.
I won’t be doing the walk alone. I’ll be taking part as part of a team with my wife Cheryl, my daughter Ruby, my Aunt Mo, my Uncle Gary, my mate Dean and his daughter Grace. Together we’ll be walking the full 15 miles to raise as much money as we can.
Our goal is to raise as much as possible to support The Royal Marsden and the life-saving work they do every day.
If you’re able to donate – no matter how big or small – it would genuinely mean a lot to me and my family.
You never know when you or someone close to you might need them.
Thank you so much for your support.
