Funding Invaluable Care And Support

In October 2023 my mum was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare type of sarcoma/skin cancer which threatened to take her away from us. After a whirlwind few weeks and following the  expert care and support from the doctors and staff at the Royal Marsden, my mum came out the other side all clear. She had a great year cancer free but we were informed in November of last year that it has returned and is sadly incurable. The news has no doubt hit us all hard but we are determined that whatever time we have left together, we make the most of it.
The Royal Marsden hospital has provided invaluable care and support throughout every step of my mums journey - not only for my mum but to my eldest sister who has been with her for every appointment and consultation. I can't thank them enough for what they've done for my family so instead I'm walking with my sisters and friends to raise money to help these fantastic hospitals support others like they've supported us.
