10th year of walking the Marsden March
Just a few days to go now before I walk with my team, "The Mad Hatters" , from the Royal Marsden, Chelsea to the Royal Marsden in Sutton, Surrey. Officially it's my 9th, but we walked in our own areas when Covid was upon us.
Like many of us I have seen how cancer can affect lives and I wanted to do something positive to support the incredible work being done in research, treatment and care at The Royal Marsden Hospital.
Walking 15 miles feels worthwhile knowing it can help to make a difference. If you're able to donate, no matter how little, it would mean so much to me and it will go towards helping fund life-saving research.
This is the furthest I have walked for a while as I hurt my lower back recently and am still recovering. It is much better, and I am hoping all will be fine.
