In memory of Bronagh
On 11th May, I shall be walking the Banham Marsden March in memory of my dear friend Bronagh. She died of Secondary Breast Cancer in October 2023.
The 11th May would have been Bronagh's 39th Birthday. I along with my sister and best friend Natalie are Bronagh's Babes! Walking to remember our friend and to raise much needed funds for the Royal Marsden, a hospital which supports me and is at the forefront in the fight against cancer.
This walk will be challenging for me. Since my cancer diagnosis, I have not walked more than 8km. We are walking 24km between RM Chelsea and RM Sutton. I am finding walking difficult at present. I am suffering with fatigue and I also have chemo induced hand and foot syndrome with a side of peripheral neuropathy, which makes walking long distances painful and slow!
Please give anything you can to raise funds in memory of my friend, for me and for the Marsden's continued work against this cruel disease.
I’m walking to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients. Please support me today.
