Together we walk!

Hello! We are all walking the 15 mile Marsden March to raise money for nurses, doctors and research teams for cancer. 

Unfortunately, 1 in 2 people do get diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, which is a lot of people. So many people have either been directly affected by it or know someone close to them who has been affected by it. 

Why are we doing this walk?

Monique - Growing up, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 times. This was an extremely difficult time for our family. But thanks to the treatment at this hospital and the grace of God, she is still here today. I want to be able to help raise money for a hospital that I know can give people hope that things are gonna be okay, because that’s exactly what they did for my mum. Thank you Royal Marsden :) 

Tia - My sister had ovarian cancer at the age of 16, and it's a blessing to have her still breathing today, with my nearly 10 year old nephew here as a testimony to the impact Cancer research charities can make, and the God we serve🙏.

Kelsey - I am doing this walk in support of my sisters in Christ as it is a cause close to their hearts. 

We want to help out in the best way that we can to stop more people from having to suffer. So we are all walking in unity and love as a way to contribute everything raised to life-saving research and treatment.
