My Marsden Journey
In May 2025, I had to have a major operation at the Marsden for a 16cm Benign Tumour on my ovary. It all happened very quickly due to the size and not knowing I had it. I had my operation with 3 days notice, in which they removed the tumour and my right ovary. My surgeon and his amazing team supported me through this difficult time. I couldn’t have done it without the support the Marsden team provided me. I still go for regular check-ups and I would like to give back to thank them for all the help they gave me. They are generally the best team and can’t be more grateful, so please donate if you can. I’m doing the walk with my mum and best friend and i’m so lucky to have the best support around me!
