Together we walk!
On 10 May, together with Amelia, Amy, Ellen, Saira, Sarah, and Gosia, I am taking part in The Banham Marsden March to raise funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. We will be walking 5 miles to support a cause that is very close to my heart.
Over the last 12 months, The Royal Marsden has looked after me with incredible care. During this time, I met not only my amazing surgeon and her team, but also many wonderful nurses, physiotherapists, radiologists, and volunteers. Their kindness, compassion, and genuine empathy made a difficult journey much easier. Even though they care for so many patients every year, they always made me feel that I truly mattered.
The Royal Marsden is a world-leading cancer centre. Donations will help them continue to provide the very best care, fund vital research, and develop life-saving treatments.
Research shows that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, which highlights how important charities like this are.
I have set a goal to raise £650 and would be very grateful for any contribution to help us reach it. Every donation will make a real difference.
