Together we walk!

I’m walking to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. This walk is for our special friend Beverley who fought so bravely, fighting through her cancer and helping others understand the journey, always positive, brave and inspiring, who sadly passed in January this year. 

Am also walking, loving memory of my wonderful Dad, Peter Saunders. Treated at the Marsden over several years who sadly passed away last July. (First diagnosed with Prostate cancer 25 years ago and in 2023 BCell and TCell lymphoma). He was so strong, brave and never moaned about any hardships he was going through.  Dearly missed, always in our hearts with cherished memories together of a special love eternally shared.  

My dad and Beverley met at a Mayors Ball Beverley organised that I was filming and I invited my dad to.....and then several times a few years later, at The Marsden when their treatments and testing overlapped - allowing us nice time to catch up during Beverleys isolation time to stay protected. 

Two amazing souls - rest in peace. We all walk for you and so many brave people who face their cancer challenges  in hope to overcome this awful disease.  Praying for a cure. Thanks so much, Love to all. Emma xx
