A message from Caben's Mum & Dad.

Me and my family just want to give back to the royal marsden !! For saving my son’s  life, the hospital is absolutely incredible for what they do, to help and support all their patients and patients family’s. 

My son Caben got diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer called embryonal sarcoma of the liver on the 23 April 2024, he’s had surgery to remove he’s 25cm tumour,  half of he’s liver removed and he’s gall bladder following 9 Cycles of intensive Chemotherapy.

Caben rung the end of treatment bell on world cancer day 4th feb 2025 🔔💛

Without the royal marsden we wouldn’t have know Caben has a genetic condition called li fraumeni syndrome, which thankfully he will be on a life long surveillance . 

The royal marsden go above and Beyond for all their patients as-well as making there journey as positive and comfortable as they can, the paediatric hospital is such a happy positive environment to keep the spirit up to keep fighting!!  The royal marsden became our safe space (our second family ) even though all the chemotherapy and side affects,  the good always outweighed the bad.

We are so grateful to all the staff at the royal marsden for their time and dedication to help, care and support my son through he’s oncology journey.
