Year Three – And I’m Still Walking

This will be my third year doing the Banham Marsden March, and honestly… I didn’t plan for it to become a “thing.”

The first year, I signed up because I wanted to help. The second year, I realised how much it actually meant. Now it’s year three, and it just feels right to keep going.

Cancer affects too many people. Friends. Family. Colleagues. People we love. And the work being done to support patients and fund research really matters. That’s what this walk represents to me.

It’s not glamorous. My feet hurt. I complain halfway through. I question my life choices at certain points. But crossing that finish line every year reminds me why I signed up in the first place.

Because it’s bigger than the walk.

If you’ve supported me before, thank you for sticking with me again. That means more than you know. And if you’re supporting for the first time this year, I’m so grateful.

Three years in, and I’m still showing up.
