Together we walk!

In July 2025 our lives changed forever when our daughter Emilia was diagnosed with a brain tumour, which we later found out was a high risk Medulloblastoma. The tumour was removed at St George's hospital, and Emilia's care was then transferred to the Royal Marsden in Sutton.

It was at the Marsden that we received her diagnosis and found out her treatment pathway, where Emilia has had multiple scans and procedures, and where we've stayed each month for her chemotherapy cycles. We've had some really hard times during this journey, and the staff at the Marsden have always been there to pick us up and support us every step of the way. The nurses, doctors and play team have been so wonderful with Emilia throughout and we cannot thank them enough.

Emilia has reached the end of her chemotherapy cycles, and whilst we will continue to visit the Marsden for scans & appointments for years to come we thought completing this walk was a wonderful way to mark her journey so far and to give back to the incredible teams that have helped us get to this point. We're couldn't be more grateful for the work they do.

On the 10th May we will walk 5 miles as a family (and with some of our wonderful friends!) ending up at the Royal Marsden hospital in Sutton. Please donate if you can.

I’m supporting The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments. Together, we can save the lives of cancer patients everywhere. Please support me today.
