Together we walk!

Hi all,

This May, I’ll be taking part in the Marsden March with my mum and her two best friends.

Last year, Mum went in for what we thought was a routine operation. The results blindsided us: ovarian cancer — and the possibility she might be a BRCA carrier,  Those twelve weeks of waiting for the BRCA result were some of the hardest for our family, wondering what it could mean for Mum, for me, and for my children.  We were incredibly lucky. After further surgery, the team removed everything, no other signs of cancer, and—against the odds—Mum isn’t a BRCA carrier.

We’re so grateful, and we want to give something back to the Royal Marsden, So, on Sunday 10 May (yes, my birthday 😊),  Mum, Myself and her two best friends, Debs and Judy will be stepping out in the Marsden March to raise funds for the Royal Marsden’s Hospital to continue in helping them with their life‑changing research and treatment.
