Together we walk!
Why I’m Walking for The Marsden March
This year, I’m taking part in The Marsden March, and it means more to me than I can easily put into words.
This is very close to my heart, as I’ve had personal experience of cancer over the last few months. What started as tests and appointments became chemo, immunotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy; and learning to take things one day at a time. It’s been a period filled with uncertainty, resilience, and moments that have quietly changed me.
Along the way, the care and kindness of nurses and doctors have made an enormous difference. Their skill, patience, and compassion have supported me through some of the hardest days, and this walk is my way of giving something back to those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
I’ll be walking alongside three of my amazing friends, whose support has meant everything to me. Together, we’ll be walking for everyone affected by cancer — those in treatment, those waiting for answers, and those finding their way forward.
Thank you for any support you can offer.
