Together we walk!

I’m taking part in the Marsden March to raise money for The Royal Marsden, a place that means a huge amount to me and my family.

I’m walking in honour of my mum, who has been living with cancer for the past 9 years. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer, and later developed secondary cancer which caused a tumour on her brain. After undergoing her second round of radiotherapy, my mum was sadly left with radiation necrosis — a condition that has caused acute brain damage and left her with a severe imbalance that affects her daily life.

Despite everything she has been through, my mum continues to show incredible strength and resilience. The care, research, and support provided by The Royal Marsden gives families like ours hope during unimaginably difficult times.
