Tuesday 11th MarOn Sunday, May 11, 2025, (my late grandmother’s birthdate in 1891 and the day of Martin’s funeral in 2016), we will embark on a 15-mile walk from Chelsea to Sutton. This is a fundraising event in support of the Royal Marsden Hospitals. On March 11, 2024, Bev underwent a significant operation at Chelsea. The surgery was successful, as the tumours were removed without any complications. The exceptional care provided by what is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading cancer hospitals is the reason behind our decision to join this walk. We are not only raising funds to repay their outstanding service but also to ensure that future patients receive the same level of care.
