Walking for Laura
We are taking part in the Marsden March for the second year running, in loving memory of our wonderful Laura - or Bengi, as most people knew her. My beautiful wife passed away in December 2024 at just 37, after a courageous battle with Melanoma.
Following a devastating prognosis, Laura was transferred to The Royal Marsden, where the brilliant medical team created such a positive and compassionate environment, and gave access to pioneering treatments.
In the end, Laura's illness was too advanced to treat, however the care and optimism that The Royal Marsden team gave Laura, made the final months of her life so much brighter. We will always be grateful for the support they gave Laura, and continue to give to so many others.
