Walking for Laura
On the 11th of May, I'll be walking 15 miles to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre that cared so amazingly well for Laura.My beautiful wife lost her battle with cancer in December at the age of 37. Throughout Laura's illness, The Royal Marsden was a beacon of positivity and offered Laura cutting edge treatments, including a new clinical trial drug alongside standard immunotherapy.
The Nurses, Doctors and Consultants at the Royal Marsden are complete professionals, but what really stood out was how caring they are. They took Laura's case personally, and we saw them as our friends as well as Laura's medical team.
