Together we walk!
Hello,
Steve and I have decided to take part in the Marsden March in May for the 3rd time. For those of you that are not aware I was a patient at the Marsden for 22 years and still have access to support from their charity. I was initially diagnosed with Breast cancer in 2000 and again in 2016. After a major operation in late 2016 followed by a long period of recovery I was pronounced cancer free in 2022 due to the amazing care and support the Marsden provided.
We are even more thankful this year as I have just turned 60. There were times in my cancer journey that I didn't think I would reach that age so we are taking part in the Marsden March this year as a celebration of that.
As a result we are asking for your kind donations....
The Royal Marsden is a world-leading cancer centre. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients. Please support me today.
Amazing story and amazing challenge. Go Hazel!! Xxx
