Hi all.
This year I have decided to do the Royal Marsden March on 10th May.
As I am asked to complete my go fund me page, I think of family and friends who have or have had a loved one fighting cancer or lost them due to this horrible illness.
At the end of 2025 we lost my partners mum to cancer. She was a strong and positive lady. Took it all in her stride. Taking herself to appointments and to chemo. And even though she was tired at the end of each session, she continuously had a smile on her face. She fought it head on until the day came we were told there was no more they could do.
As I get older, it makes me realise how precious life is and that we shouldn't take anything for granted.
I will be doing the Royal Marsden March in honour of Gwen but also in honour of other families who have also had a loved one fighting cancer and that are not able to participate due to various reasons.
