Ali’s Story
Friday 29th NovIn October 2023 my mum was diagnosed with rare DFSP-FS Sarcoma. The Royal Marsden took her under their care and she was cancer free for a year, “ a good year” as she would describe it. Unfortunately, my mum’s cancer has returned and it is incurable. At a time of great upset and uncertainty, a remaining constant is the amazing care and support provided by The Royal Marsden. Something that my family and I are eternally grateful for.
So, my incredible friends and I are walking not only for my irreplaceable mum, but in recognition of The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. By donating to our page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients. Please support us today.
