I’m reaching out to share a personal journey that has shaped me and my family's life since 2018, one that is both challenging and transformative.
As some of you may know, in May 2023, five years after being diagnosed with kidney cancer, I received the daunting news that it had metastasized to my lungs and brain, reaching stage 4. While this diagnosis has been overwhelming, it has ignited a fierce determination within me to fight back and make a difference.
On Sunday, 11th May, I, along with family and friends, will once again participate in a walk to support The Royal Marsden Hospital. This institution is not only close to my heart but is also at the forefront of cancer treatment and research. Their dedicated team of nurses, doctors, and researchers have provided me with invaluable care during my ongoing treatment , and I aspire to help ensure that others can benefit from their incredible work.
