As you may already know, last year I had a terrifying brush with cancer. However, after a successful operation followed by treatment aimed at preventing its return, I'm hopefully on the way to getting the all clear, pending a check up this spring. I'm so grateful for the expert care I received from my consultant, nurses and all the staff at the Royal Marsden in Sutton whose attentive care and expertise make the experience a lot easier. Money raised by this charity is vital to help fund cancer research, to enable hospital teams provide world-leading treatment and care, invest in equipment and fund patient environments.
