Walking to transform lives

I am taking part in the Banham Marsden March on Sunday, 11 May, to raise money for The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre with two hospitals based in Sutton and Chelsea, South London.

I will be walking 5 miles in memory of my beloved dad, Ken, who we lost to lung cancer in December 2014, after he received palliative treatment at Sutton.  My sister, Sue, was treated at both hospitals for uterine cancer, diagnosed the same year. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017, I was also treated at Sutton.  Thankfully, Sue and I are 11 and 8 years clear, respectively.

So many families and lives are affected by cancer.  All the staff at The Royal Marsden hospitals are amazing, compassionate angels.  By donating to my page, the nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.

Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients. Please support me today by giving whatever you can.
