Together we walk!
I’m walking the Marsden March again this year on 11th May. It’s a 15 mile walk from The Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea to the Marsden in Sutton. I’ve been under this amazing hospital for five years, receiving formidable care, treatment and surgeries, for a disease which is impossible for me to shift yet somehow they are keeping me alive! I finished six months of chemotherapy recently, so this year may be tougher but I’m determined to give it a go! My friends are joining me too, however this year, we will be one man down. Alastair sadly passed away in August 2024, so this year we will be walking in his memory. Cancer affects 1 in 2 people and is a complex disease that requires much more research to find new drugs and treatment options. Thank you.
