5 years on...

It started at Stockholm airport in January 2019, when I got the phone call from the hospital, that they need to do further tests after my SMEAR as it showed abnormal results. After countless appointments, a cervical cancer diagnosis, a major abdominal surgery, and a bit more than 5 years later I’m walking to celebrate that I AM CANCER FREE. It is so important to me to find closure and also to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre, where doctors, nurses, helpers, wonderangels worked tirelessly so that I can be here today. During the walk I and thousands of other lovely people will march from London Chelsea to Sutton -basically between the two Royal Marsden Hospitals - to celebrate life and to help the many, many, many people who are dealing with or sadly will be dealing with cancer.

By donating to my page, the huge Marsden team can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients.

Please support me today, if you can, by donating to the Royal Marsden Hospital. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
