Last September, I was told I might have cancer.

After suffering extreme back pain, scans revealed two wedge fractures in my spine. During the tests I was urgently referred to haematology because some results suggested it could be cancer. Thankfully those tests came back negative, although I’m still under investigation for my spinal fractures. But hearing that possibility was absolutely terrifying.

At the time, walking even 400 metres was a struggle before I had to sit down because of the pain.

So I decided to set myself a challenge.

This year I’m taking on the The BANHAM Marsden March in support of Royal Marsden Charity and raising money for vital cancer research while pushing myself to get stronger and healthier.

Honestly, the distance scares me, but that’s exactly why I’m doing it.

I’m supporting The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments. Together, we can save the lives of cancer patients everywhere. Please support me today. If you’re able to, please consider sponsoring me. Every donation, big or small, will help make a difference. 💙❤️💗
