My Story

Sunday 23rd Feb
Michelle was diagnosed with bone Cancer in December 2019. It was such a shock but we were all so hopeful. There were various different treatments which were working for a while, but all of a sudden they just began to stop working and the cancer started spreading. 

Michelle was only 35 years old when she passed away in March 2022. She was a mother, daughter, teacher and my best friend. She was fun and had a wicked sense of humour. She really was one in a million and I wish we could have continued to make the best memories.  

In the last two years of Michelle’s life, we went out and did lots of walks, so it feels really fitting to be doing this walk in memory of Michelle, whilst raising money for such a great cause.
