Together we can beat cancer

Sadly I have terminal cancer, I am under palliative care, been given weeks, months not years.

Since diagnosis 15 years ago I have been so fortunate to be cared through the wonderful NHS at The Royal Marsden, the UK centre of excellence for my extremely rare Medullary Thyroid Cancer, they have been absolutely brilliant.   15 years of superb regular attention with the top specialist oncologist involving so so many MRIs, CT & PET Scans, biopsies, blood tests etc.  Now it’s my turn to repay them……….

Both individually in the name of “Paul Kennedy” and together with my family members, in the team name “Kennedy’s” , we have entered the annual Marsden flagship fundraising event the Banham Marsden Walk on 11 May.  My daughters Natasha & Lara with their young children will be doing the 15 miles walk between Marsden Hospitals at Chelsea and Sutton. I, because of limited strength, will walk 5 miles

AND PLEASE WE ARE LOOKING FOR SPONSORSHIP….. see links below to my individual and team pages for your kind donations.

Anyway at the moment I feel reasonably fine, I’m not in any pain, take a low daily dose of morphine along with steroids & loads of other medications.

I’m walking to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients. Please support me today.
