In Loving Memory and Grateful Celebration – My Marsden March

This year, I’m walking the Marsden March with a heart full of both grief and gratitude.

I'm doing this in memory of my beloved brother, who we tragically lost to a brain tumour. His strength, humour, and love left a mark on everyone who knew him, and his absence is felt every single day.

I’m also marching in honour of my son – my warrior – who survived a 4-year battle with leukaemia. Thanks to the relentless treatment and the incredible care from medical teams, he’s here with us today, growing, thriving, and living life to the fullest.

Both of their journeys have shown me the devastating impact of cancer – and the lifesaving difference that research, care, and support can make.

The Royal Marsden has been a beacon of hope for so many families like mine. Every step I take is to raise vital funds for their groundbreaking research and compassionate care, so that more families can be spared heartbreak, and more stories can have happier endings.
