Each year I try to complete the Marsden March which is a 15 mile walk from the Royal Marsden in London to the sister hospital in Sutton.

The walk this year is on Sunday May 11th.

This is a fantastic cause, raising funds for excellent work which is carried out by the Royal Marsden, a world -leading hospital in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers. Approximately 1 in 2 people will go through cancer at one point in their life time. From my personal experiences of the Royal Marsden, their professionalism and kindness is incredible and the work that they carry out is excellent .

The walk itself will have 1000's of current and former patients and family members, with pictures of relatives and friends on their T shirts. It is an emotional but uplifting day.
