Marching in memory of loved ones 💜
Sunday 10th MayHey all 👋🏼
Today my daughter Sophie and I completed The Banham Marsden March - 5 miles, mostly uphill! 💜
We took part to raise money for The Royal Marsden and the incredible work they do developing life-saving cancer treatments, dedicated care, and support for patients and families.
We walked in memory of our beautiful friend and purple warrior, Tania, who was cared for by The Royal Marsden after being diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer. Her courage, strength, and vibrant spirit inspired so many people. We were also thinking of other much-loved friends, family members, and beloved pets lost too soon to cancer.
It was such a special atmosphere with a wonderful crowd, and incredibly moving and inspiring to read all the messages people had shared along the route. We added our own messages to the reflection wall too. 💜
