In December last year I found I had breast cancer once more. Just bad luck, a completely unrelated fresh collection of naughty cells. The Marsden have been amazing, and I have had two small ops, some radiotherapy and am good to go!
I am humbled by my good fortune and the magnificent people I have met along the way. Cancer is increasingly a manageable and even curable disease .
I walk for family, friends and future patients who have not been blessed with my good fortune, and for the wonderful group of people who are part of the Royal Marsden family, a world-leading cancer centre.
I am so grateful for the 17 years I had cancer free thanks to the Royal Marsden and by donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments. Together, we can save the lives of cancer patients. everywhere. Please support me today.
