My mum 🫶
Monday 17th Mar Hello, my name is Katie, on the 29th of October my mum and I went to the hospital to receive her results from her mammogram scan and that’s when we received the news that she had triple negative breast cancer. This was the worse news anyone had ever told me. My mum has always been my cheerleader and this is when I knew the roles were about the reverse. My mum had to do chemo every Tuesday up until her bloods began to play up and unfortunately she had to begin having breaks in her treatment to make her feel better. This didn’t work so eventually left her with having to fully stop her chemotherapy treatment. Every session of chemo my mum has had to have has been at the royal Marsden. They have taken the best care of my mum that I could’ve wished for while also attempting to give all the support they can to me and the rest of the family , now I want to give something back, so on the 11th of may, my sister and I will be walking 15 miles for the royal Marsden cancer charity. I kindly ask for any donations that you can give By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients.
