2nd March without Mum

Wednesday 17th Apr
My mum died on 17th December 2022 of what was originally ovarian cancer. She survived 8 years after her first diagnosis, 8 years we never thought we would get.

She devoted her whole career battling cancer, though this wasn’t one that required her speciality of radiotherapy physics. She was very good at her job, even has research papers in her name. There are probably hundreds of people who she assisted in providing the gift of extra time to. She deserved better than to die at 59.

She used to do the Marsden March when she could, walking with the Caterham Convoy. Taking part is what keeps up her legacy and memory. It is a great opportunity to reunite with friends and family.
