Together we walk to hopefully make a difference

We are walking the Marsden march in the memory of my mum/nan, we have done the race for life for her to raise money for research as it is important but the actual hospitals, doctors, nurses, porter, cleaners and everyone connected these hospitals are just as important. 

My mum spent a lot of time within both the Royal Marsden hospital over her 30 years of battling Cancer and it wasn’t just her they supported. As my mum was a single mum they went out of their way to support me, they made time to help me with homework when I’d go after school, gave me activities and little jobs to do, made sure I was eating and let me stay over night when she had her really bad days. 

I am so truly grateful for everyone who helped my mum and gave her the extra 30 years she had, don’t get me wrong it was not plain sailing, she went in and out of remission so many times but they were always so positive which helped us stay positive and fight again. 

These hospitals are still helping my family and friends who are having their own battles so please donate anything you can as every little really makes a huge difference. Xxx
