I am fundraising for
The royal marsden has always been such a huge part of my family helping my grandad, uncles, nan and auntie. Now it’s my husband. This charity is close to a lot of peoples hearts.
We had a whirlwind few years, finding out I was pregnant, getting engaged, buying our first home and eventually getting married last year with all of our family and friends. We then came home and had an incredible time on our dream holiday to Australia. Coming home hit us like a ton of bricks, my husband and Lila’s dad has now had the devastating diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at just 30 years old.
We don’t know what this next journey is going to be like, but the treatment period of chemotherapy is closely approaching and it will be incredibly hard and it’s something no one can plan for and the emotions are HIGH.
The marsden have already helped us so much and this is only the beginning.
I don’t have the time at the moment to train for a marathon, but I do love walking so what better way to raise some money for this amazing charity than the marsden march in May.
