Together we march…
As a former patient of the Royal Marsden after battling stage 3 breast cancer in 2017 I am forever indebted to the hospital and the amazing doctors, nurses and staff that work there for saving my life.
Sadly one of my big C friends Nicole who was not only a patient at the Marsden but a nurse there for many years, lost her life to secondary breast cancer in December 2024 aged just 41, leaving behind her beloved husband and 2 young children.
I am joining my friend George, who was also treated at the Marsden, and her family to raise money for the best cancer hospital there is and this year my 14 year old son Olly is joining me to say thanks to the team that saved his mums life.
I am walking in memory of my 3 dear friends Sylvie Cusson, Caroline Boore and Nicole Hall, my pink sisters who are missed by so many every day.
We will be walking the 15.5 miles from The Royal Marsden in Chelsea to the finish line at The Royal Marsden Sutton on Sunday 11th May.
