Wednesday 11th Mar
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016, which was a complete shock as I had very little symptoms. I had all my preliminary examinations at Mayday in Croydon. I then had to attend the Marsden for 20 bouts of radiotherapy. I was treated with the utmost care and respect, which helped me greatly on getting through this period of treatment. I have the greatest admiration for all the doctors, nurses and everyone I had contact with, and luckily my cancer is as far as I am concerned gone. So I do hope these walks will bring in much needed funds for this great hospital.
