Forever in our hearts. John Wood
Monday 24th FebI met John in July 1988, we both wanted a big family and by December 1994 we had had five children.
John was a massive family man and had a huge heart. He was very loud, a huge chatterbox and forever the joker. Life was never dull with John around and once you met him you could never forget him.
When he was diagnosed with cancer even though it was stage 4, we didn’t expect him to be taken from us so soon and he died surrounded by his family on January 1st 2024.
I am doing this walk to raise money for the Royal Marsden Hospital to help support those who are going through cancer, those who will be diagnosed with cancer and hopefully to find more cures and treatments to stop cancer in its tracks.
We all miss John very much. Life is so quiet without him.
This will be our way of remembering him for all the fun times we had together.
