Cancer the dreaded word the far too common horrible disease
something that affects each of us
not spoken of with ease, each with our own history a story of our own something that's always lurking and far too close to home. Whether it's affected someone you love or you have experienced it directly a shadow that always lingers as it impacts one of us in three, those undergoing treatment the toughest battle ever faced
the loved one's cancer took away from us
the pain never to be erased. But one thing cancer cannot snatch one thing it cannot steal is all the wonderful memories
and all the love we feel, it cannot take the hope the constant strive for more it cannot take the prayers as we hope one day for a cure.
