Walking 15 Miles in Memory of My Mum: Honouring Her and Supporting The Royal Marsden
Wednesday 19th FebOn what would have been the year of my Mum's 80th birthday, I decided to take on a 15-mile walk in her memory. Although she wasn't treated at The Royal Marsden, our family has witnessed the incredible care they provide first hand, and I wanted to do something to support their work and honour her life.
The Royal Marsden is a leader in cancer treatment, offering cutting-edge care to patients from all walks of life. Our family has experienced the impact of their dedication and expertise, and I’ve seen how they support both patients and families through challenging times.
I know that by taking on this challenge, I’m not only honouring my Mum’s memory but also supporting a cause that impacts so many others. Every step I take will be for the patients and families that rely on The Royal Marsden’s world-class treatment.
