Together we walk!
I’m walking to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients. Please support me today.

My updates

gastro oesophageal junction GOJ cancer
Wednesday 8th Jan I was diagnosed in June 2023 with a tumour where the oesophagus meets the stomach. I had four cycles of FLOT chemo which certainly takes a devastating effect on the body. In November 2023 I had an eleven hour op to remove some of my oesophagus and stomach and my stomach is now in my chest. I spent several days in the Critical Care Unit at Chelsea, two days of which I was sedated for as my lung that they collapsed wouldn't work properly. In early 2024 I completed another four cycles of FLOT chemo. I'm still not fully recovered and have permanent nerve damage and pain in my hands and feet as well as continued problems with eating, digestion and internal surgery pain.Thank you to my Sponsors

Thank you Chris. My partner Hsiang-Chi also works in the research dept at the Royal Marsden, so we know how important donations are and how the cancer charity can really make a difference when it comes to saving lives. Wishing you all the best.
